Discharges duties in a responsible professional manner consistent with all standards of nursing care, hospital policies and procedures, and the current regulations governing nursing practice in the state. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date. 3. Graduate of a nurse assistant or patient care technician training program OR completion of hospital based Patient Care Technician program within 30 days of hire OR current Nursing Student OR three (3) years of patient care tech experience.
