If you're a skilled handyman or porter who takes pride in keeping a facility running smoothly, Lincoln Tech in South Plainfield, NJ wants to hear from you. We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance & Transportation Specialist to help maintain a safe, well-functioning campus environment for our students and staff. This role is a great fit for someone who knows their way around a building, can diagnose and repair a variety of maintenance tasks, and holds a clean driving record. What You'll Do: - Perform general facility maintenance and repairs including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, drywall, painting, doors, windows, locks, and flooring - Conduct monthly preventative maintenance and safety inspections of buildings, equipment, and machinery - Monitor and maintain fire safety systems, smoke detectors, and HVAC units in compliance with OSHA standards - Patrol campus grounds, manage building access, and monitor CCTV systems - Serve as a first responder for alarms and emergencies, liaising with emergency services and providing first aid when necessary - Set up and break down rooms for events, move equipment, and support classroom and office reconfigurations - Maintain...
