Job description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our heavy equipment maintenance team. The successful candidate will perform welding repairs and fabrication on a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and operational. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating welding tools, and collaborating with mechanics to support maintenance and repair tasks. - Safely perform welding repairs on heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, haul trucks, attachments). - Fabricate and modify metal components and structures. - Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. - Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick) ,torches and lancing tools safely. - Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to support maintenance tasks. - Certification in welding (e.g., CWB or equivalent). - Experience with heavy equipment or industrial machinery. - Strong understanding of safety procedures and PPE. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
