City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift: Rotating Overview: Overview Sentara is hiring a Patient Transporter The Patient Transporter safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Certification/Licensure: No specific certification or licensure requirements Experience: Patient care experience (Preferred): Talroo - Allied Health, patient care, customer service, healthcare .
