The Packaging Machine Operator assists as back up in all the production processes and positions by supporting the production areas including Operating equipment, sanitation, stocking of inventory, and acting in back up roles as assigned. This position is scheduled to work Mon-Fri 2:30pm- 11pm Key Responsibilities: - Prepares and operates packaging machines and equipment include, printers, labelers, and conveyors. - Responsible for proper packaging line set up. - Perform Daily Operator checklist at shift change and startup - Verifies proper operations and operating scales on packaging machines. - Loads rolls of film on skid for product run and puts away at end of shift. - Lifts fill rolls (up to 60 pounds) on to packing machine. - Lifts formers (up to 40 pounds) on to packaging machine. - Uses printers to ensure proper codes and prices are printed on bags, labels a...
