Job description

WHAT YOU WILL DO: Directs the activities of, and has responsibility for, subordinates in warehouse and shipping department Responsible for the proper handling of incoming products through the receiving docks, and stocking and handling of components Implements LEAN solutions into material handling and logistics processes Work directly with the freight carriers to ensure compliance with Woodward freight initiatives and policies Responsible for the preparation of all necessary paperwork and the coordination of cycle count and all necessary activities required to package and ship materials and products required to satisfy customer requirements Responsible for achieving departmental goals & performance measures KPI’s Coordinates work load requirements and work scheduling with teams (target – up to 30 members team) Develops, reviews and maintains staffing requirements Responsible for annual performance evaluations and discipline of the subordinates Identify and provide training needs related to safety, quality, new technologies and application tools for members development WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Solid knowledge about LEAN in logistics High school diploma or equivalent, preferable bachelor’s...
