Summary of Role: The Senior Proposal System Engineer, Turbine is responsible to prepare technical and commercial proposals generally in response to a client’s Request for Proposals. The Proposal System Engineer is a key role within this team and has the overall responsibility to ensure that our turbine technical proposal is complete. This is accomplished by working closely with other specialists on the Proposal team for some items. This role is responsible for overall technical integration of the offer. As well, the Proposal Engineer will lead the technical negotiations with the client in support of the proposal and shall ensure the final “as sold” documentation clearly represents what was agreed to with the client and is properly handed over to the project execution team charged with executing the project.
