What impact you’ll make: As the Technical Leader of the Blade Thermal Design team, you will provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of engineers responsible for the thermal design and analysis of gas turbine rotor airfoils spanning all aspects of the component life cycle (design, manufacture, validation, service). Job Description: What you’ll do: - Facilitate blade thermal design/analysis projects worked by team members: help define inputs and methods, monitor progress, assist with difficulties, perform peer reviews, and support Controlled Title Holder (CTH) reviews. - Mentor the technical skills of team members. - Ensure blade thermal designs/analyses are performed in accordance with design practice (DP) requirements and design template (DT) best practices. - Continuously improve blade thermal design methods and tools and the...
