Job description

The Recruiting RN is generally responsible for the pre-employment physical review and processing for required positions. - Performs physical reviews in a timely and professional manner - Provides oversight of TB and Fit Testing - Assists in triaging and managing work-related injuries and illness with the Case Management Team JOB FUNCTIONS: - Assesses physicals and provides recommendations on the hiring of new employees - Clarifies and follows up with clinicians after reviewing physicals - Obtains clearance from treating provider when warranted - Performs complete and professional assessments in accordance with Lincare policies and procedures - Maintains and establishes relationships with various Occupational Health Clinics throughout the US - Follows applicable policies and procedures of the Safety & Regulatory Manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (driving safety), FDA, and Emergency Planning - Facilitates and utilizes clinical portals when available - Collaborates with multiple departments to streamline hiring process - Maintains employee pre-employment physicals in complete and organized manner in compliance with a...
