Material Handler- Evening Shift

Job description

Description Ensure all material transactions are performed in a timely manner and all information is accurate in the ERP system. Examples of tasks a material handler may perform are receiving, kitting, issuing and cycle counting. - Ensure that all material is correctly transacted on and entered into the ERP software. - Follow the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) or Return Material Authorization (RMA) process when discrepancies are found and report to appropriate personnel. - Use problem solving skills to troubleshoot material discrepancy. - Put away materials to appropriate locations. - Deliver materials to departments as needed and requested. - Deliver and pickup material from sub contractors. - Work safely, following all safety precautions and minimizing safety hazards. - Keep materials and work area clean, organized and free from clutter. - Ensure all material and equipment is organized, used and stored properly. - Complete projects or any other functions as assigned by management. - Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventories as needed.
