Principal Process Engineer

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Principal Process Engineer at a Clients site in Sweden for the delivery of process design scopes and to provide support during turnarounds. This position is suited to an experienced process engineering professional with a proven track record of leading process engineering activities and site experience. The assignment is scheduled to start in August 2026 and will run for 18 months. The position is full-time and requires full on-site presence in Nynäshamn, Sweden. Key Responsibilities: Process Engineering & Studies Provide process engineering input to ongoing and planned refinery projects Support development of project scopes and technical definitions Perform process calculations and evaluations Review heat and material balances Support process simulations (if required) Review process safety requirements, including flare loads, relief cases, and isolation philosophy Review process design basis, PFDs, and P&IDs.
