ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team located at our corporate offic e i n Newburgh, Indian a. This position is hybrid. The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting aspects of a portfolio of projects in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Duties include interpretation and execution of contract and contract compliance; adherence to appropriate revenue recognition standards; receivables management; state and local tax and business registration research and reporting; and ensuring that generally accepted accounting principles are properly applied. The project accountant is responsible for keeping both senior leadership and project management informed, on a timely basis, of the status of projects, especially those that deviate from expectations.
