Description The function of a Facilities Maintenance Technician is to perform maintenance duties such as building, equipment, and forklift inspections. Is knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in area(s) of specialty. The Facilities Maintenance has some material handler abilities in role. Requirements: Abilities: - Inspect equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs - Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, and facility areas - Report all Safety and emergency issues - Provide service to the Warehouse Operations by answering questions, providing information, and making referrals and assuring appropriate follow-through and/or resolutions - HVAC knowledge: filter changes, basic diagnostics, understanding of thermostat and system components. - Electrical systems basics, such as troubleshooting outlets, circuits, lighting, and breakers. - Communicate with managers, supervisors, co-workers, and others while maintaining confidentiality - Perform related duties as to specific assignments - Additional tasks as assigned - Attention to detail - Take ownership of assigned task and complete in a timely manner - Integrity - Demonstrate ability to interact w...
