RWE Americas, LLC To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent Functional area: Operations & Maintenance: Remuneration: Non-Exempt The Solar Farm Technician Associate monitors the solar and BESS power plant’s availability and ensures mechanical and electrical maintenance is being performed when necessary to maintain established safety and operating targets. Responsible for executing daily scheduling philosophy, utilizing a prioritized list of work provided by planning, with a focus on maximizing generation and ensuring proactive work is prioritized and completed. Role Responsibilities: - Test, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV /BESS electrical equipment - Ensure that all assigned maintenance tasks are performed safely and in accordance with site operating procedures established for Storage PV sites - Complete Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), JSA’s, Permit to Work, and job-specific documentation that is required to conduct maintenance and repairs in a safe manner - Proactively look for improvement opportunities in job-appropriate processes and procedures - Perform data collection and prepare reports to meet reporting requirements - Perform balance of plant and switchyard work as req...
