Classification Title: AST/ASO PROF Job Description: The University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine and Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences invites applications from qualified individuals for one full-time multi-track faculty position in Medical Oncology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position is focused on teaching and clinical service but also provides opportunities to participate in clinical and bench-top research. Teaching responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction in the professional curriculum and the supervision of medical oncology residents and interns. Participation in the clinical service in the UF Veterinary Hospital includes receiving and management of oncology cases, consultations with within the hospital and with practicing veterinarians, participating in the growth of this service and continuing education. The successful candidate will join a team of two other medical oncologists all of whom, are Diplomates of the ACVIM (Medical Oncology), two board certified radiation therapists (Diplomate of the ACVR), and three surgical oncologists, ACVS Fellow of Surgical Oncology, in a beautiful 100,000 square foot Small...
