Your job is more than a job. The Supervisor, Pharmacy is responsible for coordinating pharmacy services and ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe and cost-effective drug therapies. Assists leadership with the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives in accordance with the hospital's philosophy and mission. GENERAL DUTIES: - Supervises and leads the provision of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered pharmacy services. - Serves as the liaison to coordinate compliance and regulatory issues for areas of responsibility. - Identifies opportunities to redesign systems of oversight to maximize performance (i.e., labor and operational efficiency). - Conducts competency assessments, observes and reviews pharmacist and technician compounding techniques, and coordinates/evaluates media fill. - Coordinates and oversees all aspects of pharmacy services quality assurance program.
