Assistant Utility Operator

Job description

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for an Assistant Utility Operator who can help monitor and operate ash and other auxiliary plant equipment from the field to maintain safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. Duties may include, but are not limited to, recognizing and mitigating operating difficulties, adapting to changing plant conditions with regard to maximizing plant safety and efficiency and minimizing down time. Responsibilities: - Perform maintenance and minor repairs to ash handling and other assigned auxiliary systems. - Operate plant equipment and systems with assistance and guidance from PO to ensure proper functioning. - Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing; as well as communicates clearly whether using in-situ intercom system, two-way radio, or face to face. - Anticipates typical problems, identifies potential or recurring problems, and takes appropriate action. - Troubleshoots equipment and assist in diagnosing problem areas. - Operates other equipment including, but not limited to, industrial forklifts, manlifts, skid steer type loaders, and other mobile equipment. - Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in...
