Maintenance Purchaser/Planner Qualifications: JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Purchaser/Planner The maintenance purchaser/planner will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods, and services and managing vendors. They will also be responsible for planning maintenance work on the assets throughout the facility. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend and search for the best supplier programs. This position is responsible for developing profitable purchasing strategies, assessing supplier profiles, analyzing offers, preparing and implementing negotiation tactics, and partnering with the production control department to obtain machine availability for maintenance functions.
