Reporting to the Project Manager or their designate, the Traffic Signal Electrician / Traffic Systems Technician will support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of traffic signals, street lighting, and associated electronic and communication systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of municipal transportation infrastructure. The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively across field and office environments, supporting preventative maintenance programs, system upgrades, and emergency response activities. The ideal candidate is a Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician with strong experience in traffic signal systems, controller programming, and detection technologies.
