Chief Academic Officer - ( 260000IG ) Description Job Overview The Chief Academic Officer will plan, direct, manage and evaluate all FBISD Division of Academic and Instructional Services programs, services, and personnel. The incumbent will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of instructional departments and for partnering with the Department of School Leadership to provide support and accountability for campuses as it relates to student well being, growth, and instructional programming including, but not limited to, the following: Accountability, Career and Technical Education (CTE), Curriculum and Instruction (elementary and secondary), Gifted and Talented and Academy Programs, Organizational Development, Special Education, Special Programs, Student Support Services, and Testing.
