Position Overview: Supervisor of Production plans, directs, coordinates, and controls manufacturing activities in assigned work center to achieve established management goals. Supervision of shifts or multiple departments to maintain production schedules with quality product and on time delivery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to direction and training of employees, maintenance of equipment, monitoring inventory levels and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental policies. Responsibilities: - Schedules production to assure a minimum of problems and delays, material shortages or equipment delays - Anticipates problems and delays for production schedules and corrects through problem solving and trouble shooting - Assigns work to meet manufacturing requirements - Controls labor and materials usage to meet or improve standard costs - Accurately reports events regarding production schedules and employees by monitoring individual production reports and correlating them to group reports - Arranges for proper maintenan...
