DIETARY AIDE Home: Thortonview Location: Oshawa, ON Hourly Wage: starting at $23.73 Position: Dietary Aide Status: Casual Schedule: evening shifts (3:45pm-8:15pm |3:30pm-7:30pm| 4:15pm-8:45pm) Southbridge Care Homes provides exceptional acquisition, management, and redevelopment services for long-term care homes and retirement communities across Ontario. Reports to: Food Service Manager The Dietary Aide provides support to the setup, preparation, serving and cleaning associated with all meal services in the Home. Key Responsibilities: - Ensuring food is handled in a safe manner, including proper storage and labeling - Assisting cooks in basic food preparation - Executing proper food service in relation to internal and external guidelines and protocols - Serving meals according to Resident diet orders - Washing, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining room Knowledge and Skills Required: - Mandatory enrollment or completion of a College Level Food Service Worker Program, meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care H...
