Powell is a manufacturer of switchgear and other electrical equipment. We are currently hiring a Base Welder at our Southeast Houston manufacturing facility. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm; OT as needed Position Summary: A structural welder is a skilled professional who specializes in welding and fabricating metal components used in the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures. They are responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting and preparing materials, and using various welding techniques to join metal parts together. Structural welders must adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure the integrity and strength of the structures they work on.
