Job Summary: The Design Mechanical Engineer serves as a member of the Mechanical/Structural Design Engineering Unit at Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. This group serves as the owners of the design and licensing basis for the station. Job Description: Key Accountabilities: - Prepare engineering change packages for modifications to the station, including design drawings, vendor drawings, specifications, and other applicable documents - Maintain Mechanical and Analysis calculations up to date - Assist in developing solutions to engineering technical issues in support of plant operation and maintenance - Prepare technical reports and presentations on engineering technical issues as needed - Support problem identification and resolution using the Corrective Action Program - Perform walkdowns in support of Problem Resolution, Evaluations, and Engineering Changes - Ensure changes to the design requirements are identified, documented, controlled, evaluated, and ap...
