Job description

Drive consistency, quality and safety across inspection programs. As the Senior Inspector , you’ll lead the delivery of structured inspection programs that ensure assets are assessed accurately, consistently and in line with Section 750 requirements. This role blends technical inspection expertise, leadership of a regional inspector team and a strong focus on safety, accuracy and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will manage seven Inspectors across the VRMC Hume network, ensuring inspections are completed to standard, data is captured correctly and information is used to improve maintenance prioritisation and decision making. You’ll be pivotal to driving consistency through training, updating work instructions and providing evidence‑based guidance that supports both planning and delivery teams.
