Description: JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, provides work direction to designated staff through the coordination of patients/specimens/material transfers and deliveries in all areas of the hospital by receiving requests via a multi-line telephone, operating a computerized dispatch system, generating computer reports, assigning pagers, dispatching staff, prioritizing requests, responding to inquiries and minor complaints to meet daily workflow requirements.
