Job Summary: The Electrical Specialist is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in the support of maintenance, repair, and operation of NRG’s generation fleet. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical theory, power plant design and maintenance, and the ability to work with complex testing equipment in and around medium and high voltage. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power plant electrical maintenance and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This role will provide support to multiple types of power generation ranging from traditional base load fossil fuel, simple and combined cycle peaking, wind, solar, and utility scale battery systems.
