The Astor Learning Center (ALC), a therapeutic special education school for children facing educational, emotional, and behavioral challenges, is hiring an Assistant Principal to join our supportive and collaborative team. The Assistant Principal supports the success of the school by providing leadership in supervising teachers and teaching assistants in curriculum, units of study, lesson plans, assessment, teaching strategies, and classroom management. In collaboration with the principal, the AP is responsible for the oversight of the curriculum, report cards, state testing, classroom observations, compliance, teacher coaching, supervision, and program Quality Assurance.
