The Real Estate Accountant is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of a portfolio of commercial real estate assets. The Western Region portfolio spans from British Columbia east to Manitoba and includes office, retail, industrial, and ground lease assets. Real Estate Accountants work closely and collaboratively with property management, asset management, leasing, development, and finance teams. RESPOSOBILITIES: - Monthly maintenance of the general ledger. - Monthly calculation of cash calls and distributions, where required. - Co-ordinate and prepare full year estimates and annual operating budgets. - Prepare year-end working paper files for external audits, where required. - Calculate and process final recovery invoices. - Complete and distribute reports, include client reporting and external appraisal p...
