Clinical Coordinator - Dermatology General Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing daily operations of department to include coordinating administrative tasks, and acting as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient care delivery. (This is a full time position that will support the Dermatology team at Pineville and Ballantyne Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Previous Dermatology experience is REQUIRED) Primary Job Responsibilities/Tasks may include, but not limited to: - Manage biologic therapies for patients to include prior authorizations, update patients regarding medication approvals and denials and monitor patients’ therapy continuation and adherence to treatment regimes. - Collect, record and review pathology reports on the Cancer Registry. - Maintaining equipment and injectable drug supply orders including organizing, unpacking, and discarding expired medications. - Checking on exam room status at the beginning and end of each day so that they are ready for clinic including the stocking of cabinets and drawers. - Facilitating expedient exam room turnover between patients including table paper changing and gown replacement...
