Operations Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist with all aspects of operations including event coordination, building maintenance, engineering, audio/visual services, grounds maintenance, ice maintenance, event staffing, setups and changeovers (changeovers will be supervised by this position), building security, fire and life safety and customer service. - Supervise operations staff. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. - Prepare ice for all ice events. Duties include: removing debris; checking ice depth; edging and resurfacing ice. - Oversee and direct employees who assist with installation and maintenance of ice. - Train staff on all laws, codes, ordinances, policies that conform to corporate standards, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules/regulations and emergency procedures. - Review quantity and quality of work performed. - Investigate, analyze, and resolve operational problems and complaints. - Act as a liaison with tenants, contractors, and facility users as needed. - Maintain equipment and inventory. - Report irr...
