Accounting Manager (Tax)

Job description

This position will be reported to the Senior Director of General Accounting. The candidate will work closely with the general accounting team in Poland and the global Controller teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of general accounting processes and procedures. Position will be in Gdansk, Poland. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting and good understanding of GL accounts of tax accounts (direct, indirect, payroll, WHT etc.) Additionally, this individual will work to standardize general accounting, including controls, consistent with the global operating procedures of Thomson Reuters and facilitate the escalation and resolution of open items. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting; will possess exceptional analytical skills and knowledge of SAP and Blackline; 8+ years of experience in tax accounting, reconciliations, GL accounting, or shared services ; a great collaborator with the ability to manage in a challenging work environment; ability to identify and assess issues; knowledge of the control environment and how to identify gaps; ability to make recommendations and implement improvements; abili...
