Job description

Job Title: Asphalt Feeder/Loader operator Summary: The Asphalt Feeder operator (often classified as a Front-End Loader Operator at an asphalt plant) is responsible for safely and efficiently supplying raw materials to the asphalt production plant. This role involves maintaining consistent, accurate material levels in the feeder bins to ensure continuous production, operating a loader in high-traffic stockpile areas, and performing routine maintenance Qualifications: - Material Management: Identify and transport aggregate/stone from stockpiles to the plant's feeder bins, maintaining adequate levels in 4 or more bins simultaneously. - Loader Operation: Operate a front-end loader in a high-traffic area, keeping stockpiles managed, pushed up, and organized. - Quality Control: Maintain the correct blend of aggregate sizes for the current production mix. - Plant Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, fuel, lubricate, and grease the loader and conveyor systems. - Site Cleanup: Keep roadways around the plant and stockpiles clean, level, and free of spilled materials. - Collaboration: Communicate via radio with plant operators to coordinate material feeding and report any malfunct...
