Traffic Design Engineer Department: Transportation: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Tampa, FL: Description: DRMP is seeking a motivated Traffic Design Engineer to join our growing Transportation team. This role is ideal for an engineer with a passion for traffic design and safety, who is eager to contribute to impactful transportation projects across Florida and beyond. Your engineering assignments may include Signal, Signing and Pavement Marking, Lighting and and Intelligent Transportation Systems design, and supporting DOT and municipal transportation projects . You’ll be working closely with roadway/ drainage designers, and senior traffic engineers to develop high-quality traffic plans and technical documentation. Your Primary Responsibilities will include: - Perform traffic engineering and traffic design tasks for roadway, intersection, and corridor improvement projects. - Assist with the preparation of traffic design plans, in accordance with MUTCD and state DOT standards . - Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and documentation for DOT and municipal clients. - Coordinate with roadway, drainage, and structural teams to ensure traffic design integration. - Apply DOT, MU...
