Job Description: A vacancy for Flight Test Instrumentation Laboratory Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Spain (Sevilla or Getafe site). The succesful applicant will join Engineering Area. RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be part of a team responsible for the full life cycle of a Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI): - From conception to deployment, going through equipment and system integration. - Definition and Design of Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) installations onboard Flight Test Aircraft. - Prepare FTI Documentation to be provided to A/C installation Design Offices. - Define, perform and document FTI equipment and system integration tests on FTI Laboratory Facilities. - Anomalies in service investigation and solving. - Make or Buy processes. New instrumentation technologies if applicable. SKILLS: We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: Experienced in electronics development (component technology selection, electronics board design). Instrumentation and Sensorics technology expertise (acceleration, pressure, temperature, etc...). Metrological principles knowledge will be a plus.
