Job Summary A Data Center Cabling Lead Technician/Foreman will take responsibility for the installation of connectivity solutions. A Lead Tech can be assigned to a single project or multiple projects, depending on size and complexity. The Lead Tech must motivate work crews, develop intimate customer relationships, and ensure a timely, high-quality installation that meets specific customer requirements. No C2C or third parties: Lead cable tech/Foreman Responsibilities: - Follow safe work practices adhering to AFL and client work site policies. Safety is AFL’s number one Core Value - Promotes company Core Values - Installation of low-voltage cabling systems including all aspects of the installation process: - Ability to understand complex wiring diagrams and installation instructions - Ability to terminate common types of fiber optic fittings (SC, ST, LC, etc.) efficiently and to industry, manufacturer, and AFL standards - Ability to efficiently terminate copper cabling to industry, manufacturer, and AFL standards - Ability to testing requirements for the different categories of copper media (Category 5e, Category 6 etc.). - Reads and interprets all floor plans, drawings, specificati...
