Job Summary The Maintenance Engineer III is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks on complex systems within a healthcare facility. This role ensures the reliability and safety of critical infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and/or emergency power systems. The Maintenance Engineer III also leads maintenance projects, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, and provides mentorship to junior engineers. Essential Functions: - Conducts rounds of all areas, including equipment rooms and mechanical rooms, to ensure security and proper functioning of systems. - Performs advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas systems, backup power, elevators, lighting, and/or other infrastructure. - Oversees the maintenance and repair of essential healthcare systems such as medical gas systems, sterilization units, and emergency power systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. - Ensures all maintenance activities adhere to Joint Commission standards, OSHA regulations, fire safety codes, and healthcare-specific guidelines, mainta...
