Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee. - Supports the safe and efficient operation of steam plant boilers (up to 4,000 BHP) and Chillers (up to 2000 tons) and other equipment associated with the steam and chiller plants in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards. - Performs routine inspections of the steam boiler plant. - Records pressure / temperatures and other key operational data at routine intervals. - Supports operations associated with an electrical power distribution panel. - Performs minor mechanical piping repairs. - Performs preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with engineering practices on...
