JOB SUMMARY: - Serves as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physician. - Measures and records pertinent medical information. - Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and will being of patients. - Assists providers in examinations and minor office procedures. - Utilizes knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. - Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: - Holds an active Licensed Practical Nurse license, and is eligible to practice in the state of Kentucky. - Current CPR certification required Minimum Work Experience: - Able to provide nursing care including, but not limited to administering medications and treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, collaborating with other health care providers, and providing education to patients and/or significant others. Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
