Description I - Job Purpose and Summary: The Process Technician is responsible for controlling and executing elements of an extrusion process including raw material and finished goods logistics; process addition and mixing of raw materials, and packaging process responsibilities include monitoring of critical control points and ensuring finished goods packaging and pallets meet customer expectations. The role holder will have significant levels of autonomy to make decisions and solve problems around the process. These will include setup, operation, routine preventative maintenance, and sanitation of equipment and areas of responsibility. Objectives include safely providing the highest quality product within specifications with the least amount of waste and ensuring that the plant is available to always meet the planned production levels while ensuring strict compliance with Health and Safety and housekeeping requirements. This level of technician can complete batch folders, confirm DAX accuracy of batches, and log batch data in the correct folders.
