About the role Mater Cancer Care Centre Brisbane is currently seeking applications for a Fellow in Medical Oncology . This position is offered as a full-time position on a fixed term contract for 12 months. As Medical Oncology Fellow you will provide direct medical care to assigned patients under the supervision and guidance of a Senior Staff Specialist appointed. The role will be research focused with clinical commitments. The Mater Cancer Care Centre (MCCC) includes specialist suites, consultation rooms, cancer care treatment pods, palliative care, support programs and a specialised pharmacy. The layout of the centre will enable a holistic approach to cancer care all from the one convenient location offering 40 treatment pods, consultation rooms, wellness lounge and Mater Pharmacy. There is a strong focus on academic oncology and clinical trials, and candidates with relevant research experience will be viewed favourably. State of the art research laboratories are contained within our Mater Medical Research Institute and at the nearby Transitional Research Institute.
