Position Function: The Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine has a Clinical Instructor I for Small Animal Emergency Medicine and/or Critical Care position available, to work at the Animal Health Center in Starkville. Salary Grade : UC: Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Area of Specialization: Emergency Medicine Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The new faculty member will join other faculty members on the Small Animal Emergency and ICU clinical service rotation, with a part-time board-certified criticalist as well. Service responsibilities involve emergency duty, primary and secondary clinical case management, and consultation with private practitioners. Teaching responsibilities will involve clinical training for veterinary professional students, house officers and veterinary medical technology students enrolled in the academic program.
