Overview Integrated Healthcare Pharmacy, LLC is full retail pharmacy created to service all AltaPointe patients. It's goal is to increase patient adherenceto their medication compliance by providing a convenient, customer centered option. The location is in our Adult Outpatient Program, where we provide the least restrictive level of care to adults so that they may receive clinical interventions aimed at decreasing existing signs and symptoms. Outpatient treatment focuses on recovery, problem resolution, symptom reduction, stabilization and/or prevention of movement to a higher level of care. Treatment varies widely and depends upon the consumer’s presenting symptoms. Responsibilities: - Answers telephone for pharmacy department - Assists in notifying physician for any order changes or order expirations - Properly identifies consumer profile and medication to ensure its correct dispensation - Responsible for removing any outdated medications - Receives and posts stock medication from Amerisource Bergen - Reviews and signs each invoice to ensure correct medication received - Assists medical staff with obtaining consumer prescription history - Conducts appropriate consultations with...
