Job description

The Supervisor oversees contractor performance on all vegetation management work for a territory consisting of multiple crews in one or more states. Candidates should have at least 5 years of recent experience with contractor supervision and/or contract management. Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries is also required to be considered for this role. Essential Functions: - Provide supervision, leadership, and training to others through day-to-day contact; prioritize, direct, monitor, and evaluates performance of contractors - Direct assigned employees in safe work procedures, work effectiveness, on-the-job training, construction standards, proper care and use of material and equipment, customer service, and company policy and compliance with contracts as well as state and local laws - Enforce and comply with all federal safety policies, practices and procedures; ensure that contractors know, understand, and apply all safety rules, OSHA and EPA regulations, good work practices, and proper craftsmanship techniques to their work - Ensure work is performed on schedule, within competitive cost s...
