Seasonal Licensed Practical Nurse II - Day, Evening & Night Shift - Pocasset Mental Health Center 260002IW Description This is a seasonal position with an anticipated duration of 90 days. The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking exceptional Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN II) to fill a position on second and third shift. Oversees the maintenance of a safe, secure, and therapeutic ward environment by participating in the coordination of staff assignments with the charge nurse; provides total nursing care and serves as the primary teacher for medication issues and groups. Serves as a role model and provides leadership to staff in lower classifications. Maintain a person centered, trauma informed atmosphere and professional performance. Please Note : This is a seasonal position for an anticipated duration of 90 days. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. The work schedule will vary. Day, Evening and Night shifts available.
