Classification Title: Research Assistant I Job Description: The Research Assistant I with the Department of Psychiatry will assist with the UF Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study, a large-scale national collaborative research project that follows children, aged 9 and 10 at outset, into young adulthood. The activities will include assisting in participant scheduling, consenting/assenting parents and youth, corresponding with participants via phone, email/regular mail, and administering the study protocol. RESEARCH PROTOCOL EXECUTION - This position will work directly with both child and parent participant in consenting/assenting, administering the study protocol, and collecting data; this includes, administering tasks using REDcap, iPad applications, and E-prime based fMRI tasks and collecting biological samples (hair, saliva, urine, and breath samples). PARTICIPANT CONTACT/SCHEDULING - This position will assist with participant outreach and scheduling, including coordinating with laboratory and MRI facility scheduling.
