The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is dedicated to empowering students by providing academic support that stimulates critical thinking and nurtures the development of academic independence. Ivy Tech Community College - Terre Haute Campus is recruiting for an on-campus science tutor with a strong background in Anatomy and Physiology (APHY). The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students in APHY coursework and be comfortable assisting with lab-related content, including basic microscope usage and identification of slides. Tutor Job Responsibilities: $15.00/hour Scheduled up to 28 hours per week - Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students seeking assistance in various subjects within the assignment guidelines and boundaries of the LRC - Set a precedent of academic integrity, accountability, responsibility by modeling and demonstrating good student behavior as a tutor. - Contributes to student learning, growth, and advancement. - Develop and implement strategies that promote analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Refers students to appropriate support services when necessary. - Collaborate with faculty and other LRC staff to identify areas for improvemen...
