Department: 36504 Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - Wound Care: I/P Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 8-hour shifts, typically 0700-1530/0800-1630, M-F. On-call responsibilities rotated for all off-shift hours, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to learn/perform duties of outside operator and inside chamber attendant. Pay Range: $26.55 - $39.85 Major Responsibilities: - Operates chamber control console, hand valves compressors and related support equipment. Operates and assists with trouble shooting and repair of chamber support systems which includes compressors, accumulator tanks, compressed gas cylinders, control panel, UPS, status panel, inert gas purging, oxygen analyzers, communications systems, fire deluge and handlines. - In chamber Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitors, patient vital sign devices, ventilators and other respiratory equipment. Monitors patients pre, during and post hyperbaric procedures. - May attend patients inside the multiplace chamber (must meet physical requirements).
