JOB CATEGORY: MENTAL HEALTH / BEHAVIORAL HEALTH / PSR / CCSS / COMMUNITY SUPPORT: This is a combined position for COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER – ADULTS & PSR CLASSROOM INSTRUCTOR. COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER – ADULTS: Under supervision, this position provides Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) for adults with significant behavioral health disorders and their families, to improve quality of life and maintain the highest possible ability to function independently within the community. PSR CLASSROOM INSTRUCTOR: This position works in a variety of settings to provide individual training including the major components of basic living skills development, psychosocial skills training and therapeutic socialization. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER – ADULTS - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required plus three years of experience working with the target population; or AA degree in a human service field plus two years of experience working with the target population; or a related Bachelor’s degree plus one year relevant experience working with the target population.
