Job Summary: This position is a unionized role within our production team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be required to learn, understand, and put into practice all our policies and procedures to help manufacture the highest quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will routinely perform your duties with minimal supervision, independently, and in a team with another operator. You must be able to work in an environment with many distractions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety, while performing your duties. No travel is required for this position. Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform daily walks around your work area to ensure guards and safety devices are in place - Perform checks on safety equipment and record results as part of an ongoing safety program - Follow & abide by all fork truck safety standards, Henry Plant Safety Rules. - Pick / Pack daily orders according to customer and following company requirements - Bulk loading and unloading, and inventory control of raw materials - Ability to communicate with carriers and customers regarding order pick-up. - Put stock away in proper locations. - Maintain a clean and organized environment....
